After conducting a thorough inventory of the installations and work completed prior to its arrival on site, CIMA International assembled its team, which promptly took control of the project. They established all necessary tools and mechanisms for daily monitoring of the work done.
CIMA International’s Added Value to the Project
CIMA International conducted an initial appraisal of the work performed before taking over the project. This appraisal allowed for the timely correction of certain non-conformities and enabled the continuation of the work at an accelerated pace, considering the tight deadline for the OAU summit in July 2019.
Key Obstacles met and Implemented Solutions
The primary challenge was meeting the tight deadline for the completion of the new terminal building and the presidential pavilion. To address this, CIMA International increased the number of teams and workstations, ensuring compliance with international airport safety standards (ICAO), quality requirements, and industry regulations.
